The Anupama 20th September 2023 episode begins with Anuj and Anupama looking in one way and become serious as they notice something.
Malti Devi stands at the door, quietly staring at them, making the scene unpleasant, and Anuj walks away from Anupama, effectively ending their beautiful moment.
Anupama asks Malti Devi if she wants anything from her, to which Malti Devi responds by pointing at Anuj.
Malti Devi attempts to approach Anuj, but Anupama stops her because she knows Anuj is not bothered by Malti Devi’s behavior.
Anupama suggests that Malti Devi accompany her to their room because she needs to rest and regain her normal health, following which they exit the room.
Anuj has flashbacks of Malti Devi hugging him and calling him her son, which continues to make him feel in an uncomfortable way.
